Default window wont roll up

My driver side power window wont roll up. The motor showed no signs of slowing down.

Check the wires going through the rubber boot at the door jamb. I suggest you download the free service manual at top of page and check the relay, fuse and wiring . If that all checks out get a switch from the JY and try.

its only the driver side so i dont think its the relay. The rubber boot is intact and I have to take it off when I get back.

make sure you have a tight connection at the door switch. Also, you can try swapping the motor form the passenger side to see if the motor did indeed bite it.

+1 about trying the passenger side switch. Just don't think that because the boot is OK that wires inside are.

Had a similar situation on my '96
(1) passanger window would not operate from drivers side.
(2) after some time(many months ) passanger window would not operate from either passanger or drivers side.
(3) Removed both switches, filled both switches with WD-40, operated several time, & with my ohm meter attempted to find a problem. and draw a wiring diagram.
(4) exaperased with finding no fault with the switches, called the Mopar dealer to make sure the switches were in stock. Reinstalled the old switches to make sure I didn't lose any parts.
(5) both switches started to work and have been working for more than three years. (Knock on wood)

I suggest you remove the switches, fill all the opening with WD-40, operate them numorous times & give them a try. Might save you a bunch of bucks.
