Hello group, I wanted to know if the 360V8 Magnum engine out of a 93-96 Dodge Ram 1500/2500 will bolt up to the transmission in a 1986 Dodge W350 (1 ton) with a 360 V8, 4x4 dually with manual transmission. I wanted to know if anyone knows if I can pull the Magnum 360 in a 93-96 Ram and put it in the 1986 Dodge W350 (1 ton) with 4x4 and 4-speed maunal transmission...specifically, will the newer magnum engine bolt up with the original transmission bellhousing in the 86 truck, or would I have to do a tranny change also, in order to get it all to work???

The Original 360 V8 in the truck from 86 is carb and I wanted to replace it with a NEW Magnum motor so I get a NEW motor with fuel injection and save all the $$$ that it would cost to upgrade the old motor to fuel injection. Yes, I know that I can add a new intake manifold and fuel injuection to the 86 truck, but it would cost MORE than dropping in a new 360 Magnum engine... So anyone with input about if a 93-96 360 Magnum engine will directly bolt up to the transmission bellhousing from the 86 W350, please reply...
