96 and 99 ram 1500 5.2l interchageablility

Hello everyone,

I have a 96 Ram 1500 5.2l with 140,00 miles on it. I also have a wrecked 99 Ram 1500 5.2l with 60,000 miles on it out back. The motor runs good. I was wondering if anyone knows if these motors are identical or not.

I would be interested in swaping the top end..... Heads, intake, tb, etc.
