My truck has been at the tranny shop for 10 days. I took it there thinking i had tranny troubles but when they started to dianose it, they discovered it was my transfer case. So 10 days later and $2000 later, i get my truck back with a deeper trans pan and a new transfer case (not new, rebuilt). i love my Dodge its a 99' 1500 318 4X4 with a 104K on it but its getting kind of expensive. i have had it for 7 months paid $4500 for it and now that i put this much money into it i hope it runs forever. They said the tranny was still in good shape, so knock on wood they are right. I just thought i would share that bit of frustration but i am ready to have it back. 10 days without it really sucked.

 

glad your getting your truck back.. it feels weird to me if i don't drive my truck everyday.... sorry to hear about the $2000

I know the feeling, I put about $6000 in to my truck, and had it almost a year.
they are pricey when they get some miles on them...
glad you are getting your truck back soon.
