has anyone had any success with painting any of the plastic accent pieces in the cab on our trucks? If so, what type of paint did you use? I was thinking of getting some paint that would match the exterior green and painting things like the vents, air conditioning *****, door handles and locks, etc. to kind of bring the exterior inside the cab.

 

i know people that have used Bulldog Adhesive Paint Prep spray for a base and then painted over with the color they wanted.... hope thing helps
The Bulldog Adhesive Paint makes the paint really grip

 

Go to home depot or a ,local hardware store the have paint in a spray can that is made for plastic and it works great. I think its called FUSION abt 4 bucks a can.

 

My dad painted my dash bezel. No adhesion promotor, just scotch-brite, lots of alcohol wiping to remove any armor-all, sprayed with Epoxy Primer, the Viper Red, then a bit of Ford Laser Red in the clear. Came out great. Pics in my album on my profile if you wanna see.

heres what i did.....be sure to thouroughly clean it with soap and water and rinse it completely....just rubbed it out yesterday and i can see my reflection in it
