axle nut size?

Default axle nut size?

does anyone know the size of the axle nut? standart and metric? I am going to be doing my hub bearing tommrow.

1 11/16, and you'll need a 12 point 14mm socket for the bolts holding the hub/bearing.

I always used a 12 point 9/16" socket on the 3 bearing bolts....I guess either will work!

9/16 might work , but they are 14mm 12 point. And if they are really stuck the you'll want the right size, and a quality impact socket to boot.
