The best deal I have found recently is getting a Shell Platinum Mastercard. They give you a 5% rebate for any Shell gasoline purchases as a credit on your next month's bill. If you can get one and have the discipline only use it for gas and pay it off every month, it is a nice discount.

$3.34-($3.34x.05)= $3.17 per gallon
