Need Part
I need the metal plate that goes with the K&N FIPK for my 94 ram 5.2L. I was given the tube, and filter but the plate that makes it draw cool air is gone. Does anyone have one that they have taken off and want to get rid of?

The "plate that makes it draw cool air"? I'm assuming you mean the heat shield?
An open heat shield like that inside the engine compartment is worthless. You are still sucking in hot air from inside the engine compartment, you're not getting cool air at all. No offense, just don't let their advertising fool you. The K&N breathes better, but so does the much cheaper open element air cleaner (see the DIY sticky thread).
I believe 01DodgeRam360 got rid of his K&N or wants to, maybe he will come on here and offer it. Otherwise, PM him.
