I have a 98 ram 3/4 with a 5.9L fastman 52mm K&N cold air intank , jet pc, accell coil. new plugs new cap and rotor, wires , fastman o2 elimator . empty cat. singal exhaust. new dizzy . it had a misfire light poping in the intank. Before i did any work to the truck. when tring to change the cap i broke a cap screw and couldnt get it out. so i changed the dizzy. it still pops. if you put your foot into it. it works better. do I have to take it to the dealer and have them set the timing? and how much?

 

if you changed the distributer yes take it in so they can hook the scanner up and read where you timing is (to a chrysler garage) it might just be a hair off

 

anybody recomed buying a handheld scanner as they show on horsepower tv. ?
