I'm going to be putting a HID lights in the truck
What is the best temp to get?...5000k,6000k,7000k,etc
I want the lights nice and bright but don't want to blind people

or are you trying to say that about me?

 

4300k should be the brightest and a pure white. After that you start getting more color and less lumens. So more color and less brightness.

 

haha ya i know that... no offense lol

but i meant bright and white and not blind people...

i have the Sylvania Silverstars and they are pretty awesome, i'd try those first as they are only about $40. i do think they take time to heat up? or it may be they are kinda dim while its twilight'ish.
