Hi guys I went out tonight in my truck and I noticed when I went over a speed bump there was a loud thump noise comming from the rear driver side of the truck... Then on my way home i noticed when i turn right i hear it also when going over a bump...It sounds like a broken leaf spring but ive checked it and there nothing...I ve herd the noise a bit in the summer time but it seems to have gotten worse...any ideas?

 

did you try tighting up the spare tire. it maybe lose and moving around..it was for me once........ just a thought

 

it could also be a loose or worn out shock bolt. one of my lower bolts wore down very thin, and rattled inside the bushing.

 

I've noticed everytime i go and flex my suspension it will make this noise as if I have a bent rear shock or just completely blown. Pretty easy to change eh? Also I've searched the forum and cant find anything on shocks for this truck. Which brand do you guys like?
