Default Low idle

ok, well i know my idle is low and rough because of my IAC sensor, but im wondering if, until i replace the sensor, is there any way i can turn up the idle speed? it sits at about 500 right now, id like to see around 750? i know how to do it with a carb, but dunno bout fuel injection so much? help would be greatly appreciated, because i hate having my foot on the gas at a stoplight, or when im trying to use the headlights at night to set up a tent!

The IAC and PCM control idle, there is no screw you can adjust if thats what you're asking. Have you tried taking it out and cleaning it and the throttle body?

havent tried that yet, but im gonna replace it over winter break when im not at school and im back to work at the shop. so my buddy here told me i can just tighten the throttle cable and suck up some tension so it idles a lil higher, and that there is possibly an adjuster for the throttle blades?? that i could adjust so they dont quite close all the way

The only thing that is going to adjust the idle is the IAC, period. They are really not that expensive, just don't buy a junk brand from AutoZone or Advance or where ever. All the time you'll spend wasting on trying to rig it, you could be done and outta there in in ten minutes. Or , I suppose you could always take the Joe Gibbs Racing route and put a thin magnet on the gas pedal lever on the opposite side they did. LOL JK
