Dash Cover
I've searched and came up with very little which is surprising. Maybe I didn't dig quite far enough but since it is such a common problem, I figured there would be a perfered dash cover manufacturer. I remember someone buying a cover from genos garage a while back but came in black. I've checked out coverlay and they can't even guarrentee a color match. I will not buy a dash cover without it color matching. That brings me to my next point. How can I be sure what color I have. So far my best find is on ebay. My birthday is comming up so I will have a few extra $ to throw around and this dash has been buging me for a long time, expecially with the half **** glue job holding the pieces together. Before and After pictures would be perfered if you have them.
Thanks in advance,
Greg

i'm in this too. mine has a huge crack coming across the middle. i've heard Geno's, LMC, Coverlay, and JC Whitney. i'll put up a pic later tonight. my color is a dark blue. when we find the best overall deal i'll order one.
I'm the one that bought the Geno's Garage cover. It fits pretty well, the texture is a close match. It comes in a Flat Black. Made by Palco in Nevada.
See if you can get the Mopar Interior paint to match it. If you pull off the airbag plug cover at the bottom of the floorboard under the cup holders (only 2 long phillips screws), it should have your official Dodge color under there on the back side of the cover.
BEWARE: If you have a Grey Dash look very carefully at it. If it doesn't match the A pillars and door covers perfectly, it is NOT Mist Grey! There is a darker Grey I was unable to locate, mostly because my local dealer's parts counter guy is a complete ****. I gave up an painted the upper dash, vents and SRS airbag cover all Duplicolor Black.
The Mopar interior paint is really, really good stuff and adheres to plastic without a primer. Just be sure to buy 2 cans as they are half size cans and don't touch the dash cover as the oil from your hands will cause fisheyes in the paint job.

Thanks for the heads up aim as always. I've seen some pictures where coverlay did a nasty job at matching the curvature of the dash. I'll look up the geno's cover in a bit and think about it for a few days.
