Lightbulb cherry bomb or theflowmasters 40

well right now, i have cherry bomb extreme coming out the back at a angle , and im looking for it to be louder and coming out the side before the tire. is the reg flowmaster 40 a good loud muffler.or should i just keep the extreme on and take it out by the tire. and i think im going back to si/do. not si/do. what you guys think i should do.

I think the 40 is a 2 chamber, 50 is a 3. IIRC

I like my 40 series. Isn't the Cherry Bomb extreme supposed to be louder? Maybe that's not the one. My 40 is loud but not too loud in the cab.

If you want loud I'd go with the 10 series muffler from Flowmaster. Supposed to be as loud as straight pipes only with a Flowmaster tone.

To me you just can't beat that Flowmaster tone.

Why dont you keep the exhaust you got, and install a y valve from edelbrock?
I ve seen these installed in trucks before. it allows you to run both a muffler and straight pipe at the same time. Just pull the cable on it to move the valve where you want it to be. Loud and quite
