Default 95 RAM 2500 V10 with o2 issues

I am having issues with my o2 sensor, my check engine light comes on and I have issues at 65mph (engine seems to run real rough), but I can power through it. I turn off and restart, the light goes out and I might see the problem almost immediatly, or not for days. My mechanic tells me it is the o2 sensor; is this something I can change myself? Could there be other issues?

I'm thinking you may have fuel pump issue. It is regular maintinace to replace it every
60 000 miles. I have never done an O2 sensor so please PM me if that was the problem: it is good for me to know. Thanks

Default 02 or fuel pump???

How difficult is it to change a internal fuel pump? Is this something I should take to a mechanic?

What type of fuel are you using?......I have a V10 and have always used 87 Octane due to the $$$......I put in 93 octane and 1 can of seafoam and my problem went away........if you are getting a O2 sensor issue, probably the CAT's are getting clogged and the upstream sensors are getting hot and reading bad.........try the gas first, CATS 2nd, O2 sensors, then fuel pump....JMHO

The fuel pump is not worth it.. Try the sea foa thing or just get Techron regular fuel at Chevron and try running that for a few weeks.. Its helping me a lot.. i regret replacing the pump.. pain in the but and it didn't do anything....

Default O2 or fuel pump???

Went with the higher grade fuel and the issue went away within half a tank. Have not seen the "check Engine" light come on since.

Thanks for all of your ideas and help!
