Fog lights don't work
Hey all,
Can't figure this out. When I turn the fog lights on (pull out the switch), the fog lights won't turn on and I noticed the fog light illumination isn't on either.
I have checked all fuses in the fuse box. I have checked and tested the relays under the hood. I tested the wires under the bumper and it doesn't appear as if I am getting any juice to the lights.
I took the switch assembly out and took it apart. I didn't notice anything wrong, but then again I really didn't know what to look for.
Where do I go from here? Is it the switch? Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Mugs

What relays are you talking about? Unless you custom wired them yourself, I don't believe there are any relays between the switch and the headlamps or fog lamps. Some fuses, certainly, but not relays I think. Thats the reason why I wrote a DIY for installing relays for your headlamps.
Did you check the fuses under the hood in the power distribution center (PDC)? The fuses in the fuse box in the cab have nothing to do with the headlamps or fog lamps, IIRC, if thats what you meant by you tested the fuse box.

After reading your reply I see I was wrong about the relays. It was indeed the fuses in the PDC (tells you how much I know about the truck!).
I tested the wires near the lights and I wasn't getting any juice. I believed this problem to be the switch. Stopped by the auto store and bought a new switch.....low and behold that was the problem.
Thanks for the reply
