Default Dash Bezel Help.

OK, I've searched but still not sure what to do. I have a 99 Ram and the black bezel that goes around the radio, vents, etc. is cracked. I took it off tonight to prepare to epoxy it tomorrow and thigns got worse. I just kinda squeezed the crack together just to see how everything would line up since it was in a weird spot. The stupid thing cracked in another place while I was doing that.

So, I don't know whether or not I should just pay the outrageous price on ebay for one that might do the same thing or get one of the bezel covers. Has anyone got one of them? How does it attach and will it hold up to me periodically taking it on and off (having some stereo stuff installed soon)?

I'm also on my 2nd dash that's cracking all to heck and back. I'm getting sick of this thing.

I got a replacement on eBay. We broke mine taking it off once and glued it back then it later develpoed a crack. So I put the one off eBay I had as a spare on. One thing I will say is the headlight hole is different on my 01 than it was on the bezel I got on eBay which was from a 98. I also had a broken vent so that's the main reason I got it. Anyway, this one works but it is a smaller hole for the headlight switch so covers up where the light is to tell you the fog lights are on. Works fine just covers up that little light and looks smaller around there. Still fits and works great though. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I was just working on the same thing, the bezel. It had a small crack I was going to use some plastic weld on, and sure as $hit, it broke. I was able to get it back together with a little patience. I also tryed to repair the d-side pillar piece but it is to far gone. It's got one clip holding it in. I did replace my drivers seat cushin (sic) with one I found in a wrecking yard, and I found a cup holder, (no hinge but it fills the space), as well. You got to take the good with the bad I guess.
