Exclamation Headlight question

I converted my quad beam Sport headlights to regular Ram 2 beam headlights. Problem is when I spliced them together, my highbeam dash light stays on. Causing my fog lights not to come on. Did I splice these wrong? Anybody with a Sport that has done this please help me out!

You connected wires wrong somewhere. I have only ever had the duals, never quads as mine is not a sport, but when I was doing the relay wiring to take the load off the switch I had a wire somewhere connected wrong, and I had a constant high beam indicator light.

Go through with a test light or voltmeter and check each wire, see which are high beam, which are lows. The wire that doesn't seem to do anything (doesn't light up the test light/voltmeter no matter what you do with your lights) is the ground wire.

I'm assuming you went to the standard 9004 type bulb setup, right? If so, here's a graphic to help you out with what wire does what.

I'm still at a loss for the headlight configuration of this truck. Is the ground switched? No matter what I do and how I connect it, I cant for the life of me figure out how to hook a relay to my high beam wire.

I really want to figure it out also, because if I can kick on my auxiliaries only when my high beams are on, I'll be able to get rid of that switch in my interior.

Thanks man, but I figured it out this morning using that picture you showed me. I went out with my meter and a relay and got it all figured out.

Once the Male 9004 Socket arrives, I will be able to independently turn on my lights, and kill them all at the same time by turning off my high beams.

Bad ***!

Thanks mate.

Besides the wiring, will the non sport headlights bolt right up to a sport model? Or is there any fab work involved in making them fit? Thanks.
