305/70-16's on 16x10 MT's
#21
*scratching head* I got the build sheet today, and it shows that the truck came with 265/75-16 tires... so obviously my speedometer would be correct then.
I've decided to go with 4.56 gears eventually, after I complete the 5" suspension lift and new wheels & tires. I'll go with the 16x10 Classic II wheels and 315/75-16 tires. YES, I want my tires sticking out! ;-)
I'm thankful for this forum because it has helped me to avoid making mistakes, and given me incentive to go bigger and higher. Once I discovered even with 285's or 305's as I had originally been planning- I'd still have to re-gear the truck... it made going bigger from the start more logical. Why re-gear with 4.10's to run 33" tires, when I can just go with 4.56 gears to run 35's.
