Default Location to mount a Streamlight Flashlight

I have a Streamlight Stinger rechargeable flashlight I would like to mount in my truck. Have any of you mounted one in your truck? I have the hardwired 12V DC charger. Any recommendations on location? I was thinking perpendicular to the 4 wheel drive shifter up next to the center seat. My wife sometimes drives my truck so I need to make sure it is not in the way of adjusting the driver seat...she is vertically challenged at 5'1". Any recommendations on where to tap into power? Thanks!

just put one in my truck. I have a single cab so I mounted it on the back cab wall inbetween the seat and door jam. I will post pics tonight. I tapped into a 12v source from my strobe pack, but a good 12v source should be no problem at all to find.

Mount it to your seat bracket where it attaches to your floor.

Just above there parallel to the floor works perfect.

I have this set-up with a rechargeable maglight, and it looks good
and works great there
