I like seeing them.
Built a transmission for an 05 GMC truck today, 2wd, 5.3l, extended cab, swb. Beautiful truck. Ran like a scolded dog when i test drove it. I love those trucks.

silverado better fuel economy... read the small print it's only 1mpg better than the dodge, running synthetic lubricants would probably make up the difference... and the difference in price you can buy alot of gas..
Then stay on the chevy forums.
Not the brightest bulb in the box, are you?

I actually like MonteC here. Althought I haven't had the need to ask him a transmission question yet, I enjoy reading his posts and like the fact that I know he is here incase I do have one some day. Btw, you can tell in his sig hes a chevy man, not to mention his username

I like my chevys but hell ill be the first to tell ya there not perfect. Thats why ive got both of mine torn down and im completely rebuilding them. My dads dodge is a great truck, i drove it all through high school and put all the abuse a teenager can put on a truck. It broke, we fixed it, all vehicles break. I just cant stand it when someone gets on their high horse that their brand is better than the other guys. The truth is neither is better.
Now i work on every make and model out there, i can tell you all of there flaws and that none of them are perfect or better than the other. Its all a matter of opinion. Pick what ya like and go with it, but respect the other guys choice.
Btw, thanks for the nice words. Im just here to help out and take in what i can.
