Question steering alignment

so heres what ive tried... my truck steering wheel is centered about 45* to the left when driving. i turned the wheels all the way to the right to check out the right steering arm and loosened the bolts but i couldn't get all the bolts loose to realign the it... you know the one u turn to to bring the wheel in and out... but to no avail could i get the bolt to loosen. i had even sprayed it with wd40 lube but still a no go. any suggestions on how to get it off. and i looked for any how to's on the subject but i couldnt find any. so help would be much appreciated.

Nothing in your post or sig states whether you have a 4x4 or not so I'm going to assume you do.

To adjust the steering wheel alignment you don't move the tires in or out, thats a toe-in modification. What you do is loosen the 2 bolts holding the adjustment sleeve on the drag link (the arm running from the pitman arm to the tie rod). turn that sleeve to move lengthen or contract the drag link, adjusting where the steering wheel is centered at (lengthening it will adjust to the left, contracting to the right). It will take some trial and error to get it perfect.

Hope this helps
