Yes you would have to wire the speakers to the head unit to bypass the amp. If it does solve the problem and you still want the extra juice to your speakers look at some other amp manufacturers. I sure there's one out there that will do what you need. It might cost quite a bit more lol.

Well, it isn't the most expensive amp but it's not a cheap no name amp.

It's a Rockford Fosgate P400-4.

If your installer/ dealer can't come with something try calling Crutchfield tech support. I'm not an audio expert lol, so I couldn't tell you which amp to look at that will solve this problem if in fact this is your problem. All I can give is ideas and a little bit of my commonsince.

Just try re grounding that one first. It may or may not fix your issue but sounds like it may be the grounding of it.
