Default Something for those with misses/poor running

I remember having this problem a few years ago and thought i'd let everyone know about. I have a MSD ignition system, i started having really bad misses and even stalling at times. I thought it could be a fuel problem so i checked the pressure, all good. I began to think the MSD box had gone bad, i started tracing wires to ensure none had any worn through spots. I discovered that the 2 prong plug going to the coil had fried. The metal post on the coil was about 1/3 the original diameter and the metal part inside the plug end was almost gone. I'm not sure if it was corrosion or sparking from the amped up voltage. Changed both parts and the problem was solved. Hope this comes in handy for anyone trying to solve any missing issues.
