Bring on winter
Here is my New (to me) winter daily driver. 1997 Ram 1500 ext cab 5.2 4wd.
It's got the steering column clunk but other than that it runs very strong.
I would like to put a remote start in it and will gladly take any other suggestions on what to do to it.

that thing look like it is in really good condition. as for the steering clunk, it could be the trackbar, steering shaft,or the shocks. i would replace the tracbr with one from http://thurenfabrication.com/home.html and shocks from bilistein(i use them and they work great). i would also get some 285 tires if they are not 285's already. the remote start idea is good for cold winter mornings. I saw a kit at AutoZone once.

Back in 2004, I had an 03 Quad Cab and really enjoyed posting here. Unfortunately, I got transferred and needed to get better than 12 MPG. Since that time I have been messing with my Mustangs but finally settled on a 97 Cobra. I picked up the Ram because I missed having a big *** truck.
