Default Can"t find wire harness plug

Alright well i'm looking for the plug for the brake controller. I have the other end with the 4 open wires on the end to connect to the brake controller out of a 2001. I have a 1995 and can't seem to find anywhere to plug it into... I have trailer fuse and relax in the PDC but i can't find it anywhere... WTF!? is the plug different from 95' to 2001? i'm gonna fgo take some pics and i'll be back and post them...

Just out of curiosity, you do have the factory tow package right?

IIRC those that don't aren't pre-wired for controllers.

well it has the fuses and relays in the pdc for the trailer stuff, and it has the 3 wird plug hanging behind the drvrs front wheel well... so i guess since it's not there i'll have to wire my own trailer wiring eh... GREAT! not... oh well, thanks guys, i guess i have an extra relay and fuse now... errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr any ideas on how to tap into factory wiring so it will use the fuse and relax, make it a little simpler for me?

I havent wired up a brake controller before so i can't be much help. However, I can tell you that the plug above the gas pedal you refer in the pics is the diagnostic port for OBDI.

Mine on my 01 was right there to the left of the gas pedal I think. I had the blue wire disconnected at the firewall though so had to reconnect it. I've heard others tell me for some reason half the Dodge seem to have this disconnected. I'm not sure why they wouldn't connect them but once I figured out what was up I had it fixed in no time.

It shouldn't be too hard to just wire one up I wouldn't think.
