How cold can it be to put adhesive on the paint?

Was looking to put vent visors on after Christmas.

You're not gonna get a good hold with the double sided tape on cold metal. If you can get then truck into a garage. Heat up the metal with a hair dryer and keep the vent visors warm in the truck until you are ready to put them on. With the metal warmed up the adhesive will hold no problem. If you want an exact temp, I would say no less than 50 degrees without heating it up.

just get the vent visor that actually goes in the window...its what I have and NO problems thus far!

In-channel vent visors are superior IMO.

do not do it in cold weather.one of them will come off.i have tried it a couple times in cold weather.(christmas presents) i donnt know what temp to say though.
