i think im the only person looking forward to doing the plenum repair....
....im just weird....
....i actually like doing stuff like that, now i prolly won't once im elbow deep in oil on the damn thing

As of Nov. 5th, I'll have a garage. As I gradually acquire more tools, I'm sure I'll actually look forward to repairs as well.

We'll just be weird together, MaroonMonster.

lol im the same way.

i know i should look this up, but im busy looking up electrcal stuff right now, but isnt the timing cover the plenum? i know its a dumb question

No, the timing cover is on the front behind the water pump and the plenum is the plate mounted to the underside of the intake manifold.

thx for clearing that up for me, im gunna go check mine out now the whole time i though it ws the timing cover gasket, cuz i just replaced that

my truck won't even fit in the garage, it barely fits under my carport in Illinois

i have to park it in the farm shop to have any room to work


the main reason i enjoy working on my truck, i know it will run better, and then my fuel mileage will plummet (oh wait it already sucks) when i find some unlocked power
