Comp Cam 20-604-9
Comp Cams Double Roller timing chain set
Mopar Performance roller lifter
New water pump
Assembly lube and break in oil supplement
Felpro head gaskets
MSD replacement fuel injector harness connectors

Still need

Heads
HS 1.6 Roller rockers
timing cover gasket kit

I might also need push rods and an SCT tuner

I'm really hoping to get this thing back together asap. I need the truck for the winter and my time is running out lol

lol yeah I'm not about to try to drive a Mustang in the snow. It can be done but I want my truck. I wish all this money was going into the 514 for the GT but again it gets put on hold. Its not like I really need all this its more of I want it ha ha. I would have been fine with the heads and the huges plenum kit but I kept letting pcfixer get to me. He kept saying ya know your down this far might was well change this. At first I kept saying no damn it but then that all went to hell. I hope its worth it and I don't have any problems with emissions. I shouldn't but it still worries me. Some have said i shouldn't need push rods but comps site says about after so much you need them so i gotta look into that more. I hate to think of this but probably closer to 2400 if I need an SCT and new push rods and theres no suprises.

And thanks i didn't notice what you said about liking my truck at first. Future thoughts are a 5" lift, 35's at least, and a brush guard. Thats waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the road now though unless i get a bangin job making big bucks

how much was the cam, you need to upgrade anything else to put it in. or is it a mild one that requires no other mods

LOL, don't shift the blame on me... (you know since your down to the block now.. mise well just pull it out and have it bored out to a 408 haha) Glad you got your parts ordered and can't wait to hear this thing. Oh, and now that I think about it... are you replacing your thermostat, or are you leaving the old one corroded to the intake lol.

Good luck with the project! When you're in it this far, it's like being out on the farthest limb, lol . Just be methodical and don't cut corners as dodgeram07 said and you will be happy with the results.

Got my custom exhaust yesterday and the 50HD is sounding great. Very happy with the performance so far.

The cam was 299.95 from Summit. They were actually the cheapest place I could find it. You have to upgrade your springs (beings I'm getting new heads anyway thats not a problem. I have talked to CCH and they said they have the springs I need) Also the specs on the cam are with 1.6 rockers which is one reason I'm getting them. The other reason is I thought i read somewhere that you needed them. That could just be my misunderstanding of the specs though. I also will probablly need a SCT. Comps site says you will require Summit's says you may require computer modifiactions.

Its all your fault I was set on not changing anythign but the heads but you kept throwing ideas into my head. I think you should help pay for some of this lol. Or you could have gave me the tb ha ha. Speaking of that I forgot to put that into my list of bought stuff. That puts my total up a little more.

I also didn't include my hughes stuff that I bought months ago

talon I have no idea what I'm doing so I hope that when its all said and done i can make people jealous. I also hope its all worth it. I want power for the good weather but I'm scared it will screw me in the snow. This morning I have been thinking a lot about that. My truck is a 4x4 and I bought it driving in the snow so if I destroy that my truck is pretty well useless.
