Default 2" Leveling Kit = New Shocks???

I'm going to order some new shocks (Edelbrock IAS ) for the 98 Sport, but I'm going to order a 2" leveling kit for it in the next few weeks and don't want to drop $65 each for the front shocks and then have to get longer ones in the next few weeks.

So do I have to get longer shocks for the front, or will the stock length sport shocks work?

Thanks alot guys

Ok I looked on the instructions for the leveling kit that I ordered and it says that they strongly suggest a longer shock, so theres my answer I cant wait to get these things installed this truck is going to be big. The rear wheel opening is at 41" and the front is at 38" and the truck is 100% stock suspension LOL Its going to tower over the stock 265s, hopefully I'll order some 305s or 315s in a couple of weeks. But I'll have some pics up by the end of the weekend

The width of the tire and the backspacing of your wheel will determine what size tire you can run. The lift has little to do with it for tire sizes under 35". Might consider your gears too before you opt for 315's if you still want to maintain any degree of performance and fuel economy.
