Does anyone know where or how I can get replacement hinge parts for the tailgate, and for the studs on the pillar side? I have looked everywhere and all I can find is the inserts which work for about a week and then get trashed. I need all new pieces or good ones at least. the last resort will be to fabricate my own. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

Junk yard or dealer. If you want to wait a couple days, I'm getting a tailgate painted I got in the JY to replace mine. Both work fine. I assume you are talking about the lower pivot parts. I'll have the extra parts that bolt to the bottom of the TG , but not the part that bolts to the bed obviously. And there are bushings that go in them you know. Let me know.
