msd ignition?

so i upgraded my ignition a bit. i bought 8mm wires, a new cap and rotor, and the e3 spark plugs, and an accel coil from summit. have any of you guys out there found the msd 6a ignition boxes to have any noticeable performance? are they worth the money?
