i have a o1 ram 1500 reg.cab 4x4 5.9l w auto trans can i change the number of blots from 5 to 8??

Sure, just go down to your local junk yard and pick up a new front and rear axle. Get a torch, welder, and some spare time an you are set.

You"ll need a donor truck to change the BLOT pattern. LOL

I didn't even know my truck had blots. I better check them. Do you have to grease them or something? Is there a blot upgrade that would give me more HP and better mileage at the same time?

Sorry Im changing the subject from Blots. What is the Bolt pattern size for my 98 half ton. Ive been told it is the same big pattern 5 on 5.5" as they used to be and that they are 5 on 5". Thanks Eric

Ram 1500's have the 5 on 5.5'' bolt pattern. If you want the larger 8 lug, you would need front and rear axles from a 2500/3500 Ram. You would also need 8 lug wheels.
