Default Valve Clatter?

I am not sure if thats what its called, but at times, under light acceleration... i can hear the ticking from the valve-train. but not noticeable at all times, seems more like when its cold. I don't have engine knock, and I have not seen oil pooling.
Is this common for the 5.9 w/115K? Is this a sign of the plenum gasket going? I do not consume much oil, maybe 1qt in 3500miles (I typcially change it at 3000-3500).
I had another Ram owner in the family said theirs went away after they had their timing chain replaced.

Sounds like you have a pinging problem, maybe run a little seafoam and some 89 octane through the fuel system and see what that does

heard stories about seafoam. they have it as a fuel additive? I have only heard about it getting poured directly in to the intake.

Run about a half of a can through the intake and dump the other half in the gas tank, i have done it 2 my 2nd gen a couple times and it seemed to quiet it down a little bit

if its like the valves rattling ussually that is heard in mild to hard acceleration and a couple tanks of 93 octane clears that up for a while and timming chain ussually sounds off when you first start it up, so idunno not very familiar with mopar motors.
