Default need info on radiator swap

hello all, have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9 360 cid with automatic tranny 98,0000 miles. My radiator went out this weekend. I look at ebay and they have a few different ones. Most are 1" thick but one is listed at 1 1/4". What is the OEM size? also how much tranny fluid will i loose from the radiator swap and what kind of fluid do i need to replace it with? thank you.

Measure your radiator and ATF+4 tranny fluid.

I lost about 8 oz of tranny fluid when I changed my radiator last Thurs. I looked at the ones on eBay but just couldn't put my trust into a radiator of unknown quality with nobody local to back it up. I checked around and the best price I found was at Napa. It was 173 bucks. The box had a 1-800-radiator sticker on it and there was even a little bag of candy in there :P

At any rate, I didn't have any problems installing it save the lower xmission cooler fitting. I never did figure out how to release the quick connects and ended up reusing the lower one. So far no leaks, although there is still a coolant smell from what I spilled. Blech.
