Exclamation Clunking and banging

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and also new to rams. I have a 98 ram 4x4 quad cab. I was having a thudding sound when I was turning the wheels. I soon found out it was the ball joint on the drag link. I changed the drag link and also the front shocks. That was a couple of days ago. Now all of a sudden, going down the road, I feeling a lot of popping and thudding in the front suspension at all times. I rechecked all the bolts thinking one come loose, but everything was tight. I know the inner and outer tie rods are bad. Would they cause this? No popping when I turn the wheels, just driving down the road. Any Ideas would be great! THanks guys

Are you in 4wd, I have other 4x4's do this when you are engaged? Other than that I would check al your grease points, in hopes for any easy cheap fix.

2wd. I greased everything up last night. When I head to work this morning, I'll see if that helped. I'll let you know.

Wink

Nope, nothing changed. I went ahead and bought the inner and outer tie rods for both sides and both wheel bearings/hubs. Change everything now so I won't have to worry about it again.
