Clunking and banging
Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and also new to rams. I have a 98 ram 4x4 quad cab. I was having a thudding sound when I was turning the wheels. I soon found out it was the ball joint on the drag link. I changed the drag link and also the front shocks. That was a couple of days ago. Now all of a sudden, going down the road, I feeling a lot of popping and thudding in the front suspension at all times.
I rechecked all the bolts thinking one come loose, but everything was tight. I know the inner and outer tie rods are bad. Would they cause this? No popping when I turn the wheels, just driving down the road. Any Ideas would be great! THanks guys
