I cant the the Rad hose off of the manifold. There is a stupid little tab thats on the end of the hose preventing me from pulling it up. Im using the diy from pavement sucks and in the pictures he has the tab on it too and all hes says is to pull it up. I cant pull it out.

 

I can't really offer any help. However everything I have seen says when you change your plenum gasket remove that tab. I was under the impression you couldn't get that thing off if it still had that tab on it without yanking all that other junk off

 

I managed to get it out. Turns out that there was a butterfly clamp on another hose above the coolant hose housing. So the housing kept hitting the clamp. We moved the other clamp and it finally came off

 

awesome! I'm gonna grind that thing off mine while I have it apart

 

Yeah, def. a good idea. That thing was such a point the ***

 

180 tstat is worth it. def down the road if your doing mods
