Default help with diagnosing truck's problem

I have a 2001 1500, 5.2

I got a CEL and checked the code and the truck started every once in a while losing power kinda like there was no gas getting to it, it would just lose power and I'd press the pedal down and nothing, then it'd come back and be fine.

So I checked the code which said that the 02 sensor was bad. So I replaced the one before the cat. Light stayed on still same problem. So I replaced the one after the cat figuring I just replaced the wrong one. This time I didnt notice the problem for a while and the light went off. So I thought I fixed it. Then light came back on and the problem came back, and worse! Now its doing the same thing, but its also making a loud popping noise (not metallic, possibly exhaust).

So any ideas? I'm kinda stumped, my only guesses are Catalytic converter is bad or possibly fuel pump (though maybe not as likely).

any help would be awesome

Check to see if the cat is plugged...sounds like a possibility.

Question Did you figure out wha your problem was ?

I am having the same problem with my 2001 ram with a 5.2. It will idle fine for about five minutes then it starts to stumble and progressivly gets worse until it almost stalls. If I step on the gas, it will rev up fine. Its almost like it is flooding out. It also will stumble when am driving it. It seems to be worse in the low RPM range, after it drops into overdrive. It will spit and sputter and back fire. It I floor it, it will take right off.
New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I ohmed out the coil and it was fine. I checked the Pick Up coil or Cam Position Sensor and it was fine. The only code I am getting it the P0132 High circuit on the O2 sensor. I am assuming that this is just because of the extra gas from the stumbling.
I also checked the fuel pressure at the rail, its about 50 PSI. When the engine starts to stumble it does flutter, it never drops below 40 psi. I am stumped. I am thinking maybe its the fuel pump, But i am really just guessing at this point. The exhaust seems to be flowing fine, so i dont think that it is the CAT.

Take it to a muffler shop and have them heat test it.
