Unhappy Plowed some snow last night,..

Got my truck back after destroying the transfer-case last snow.
Rebuilt front drive shaft, Rebuilt boneyard transfer case.
All went well, no strange groans or creaks, no shuttering.
Plow went up & down, side to side just like new,.. Even picked
up a new account!!Started at 4 pm last night,... Finished up at
9am today. Everything was great,.......Until,....... I backed up
and down a retaining ditch,... With 4 ft of running water in it!
(I was backing up to take another pass at the snow) and down I
went! I knew it wasn't gonna be good cause I had JUST put it
back into drive and that's when I went sliding down backwards.
The whole time I was floored in 4 wheel drive trying to not end
up at the bottom. Didn't matter,.. I was a goner.
I just sat there thing oh---f###! Now how do I get myself outta
THIS one?? A few seconds later, here comes the water trickling
thru the bottoms of the doors! I could feel the truck swaying
back and forth in the water. So I floored it again, drove up a wee
bit on the embankment just to where only the pass tires where still
in the water. At that point I started sliding back down again and just stopped.
Called the tow truck to come and get me. Had to tell him where I was because
you couldn't see me from the road! 125 bucks later and three hrs of waiting he
got me out by just dragging me up and out.--No--Fun.

That sucks...at least you didn't get swept away. Maybe the x-fer case and now this are signs that you should throw in the towel.
