quick question

Default quick question

my buddies 99 dodge ram, 4x4, extended cab. has no interior lights, no radio, and the door beeper won't stop ding dinging. there are 0 interior lights, even the light around where the key in the ignition doesnt light up.

fuse?

any thoughts?

edited to add, thie cigar lighter port DOES have power.

i had this same problem when i installed my radio it is definantly a fuse and its def in the cab fuse box the cigarette lighter is on a seperate fuse thats why it still works check every fuse till u get the right one good luck

He says its not a fuse.


any ideas?

if its not a fuse then it might be a ground wire but other than that really not sure hopefully somebody will help u out but i wpould tell him to double check when it happened to me it was one of the fuses that are in those yellow cases

He said it was one of the fuses under the yellow casing, he replaced it it blew again, he upped the fuse size and a wire started smoking under his dash. sounds like a short?
