Default guage bulbs on a '98 ram

can someone tell me wat size the bulb is in the guages on a 98 ram?

According to Sylvania's Lamp Replacement Guide for the

1998 DODGE Ram Pickup

High & low beam headlamp
-9004

Parking light + Front turn signal
-3157

Rear turn signal + Tail Light + Stop light
-1157 or 3157
(They switched to the newer 3157 bulbs either in 1998 or 1999 I believe.)

High mount stop light

Fog/Driving light

Watch on the signal bulbs though, you may need resistors wired in if you use LEDs, otherwise the computer will think them burned out and they'll "hyperflash", flash really fast.

led bulbs didnt hyper flash in my 97...just for thought, leds work just fine, no shorts, no thrown codes, plug and play works just fine

Sorry Viper, you're right, the relay, not the computer. Thanks for the correction.

They didn't work in my 2001. Hyperflash.

tried them in my 99 hyperflash, i have resistors just didnt feel like wiring them up
