Question Trouble starting 2001 dodge ram 1500 4X4

Can anybody help with a problem I have. It has been snowing really bad and we have had 40-50 mile an hour wind along with about 2 feet of snow. I was out driving and truck ran fine untill I went out this morning. I made the mistake of facing my truck into the wind and the motor along with everything else has snow all over it. When it cranks it's trying to start but won't. Thanks in advance for any help.

you might have snow packed into the spot where the truck is trying to intake air. dig out around the truck and see if that helps.

you can also try starting the truck with the air hat off and see if you can get it running to back it out. I wouldn't drive too far without the air hat on, but a little distance shouldn't hurt.
