Default stalling problem

I have a 2001 Ram 1500 with the 318. Truck stalled and wouldnt restart. Figured out the coil wasnt getting a spark, so I replaced it and then after truck was out plowing for about an hour and a half it started stalling again when put into reverse. Truck will stay running if you give it gas. What do you think is the problem

my guess would be either the idle air control (IAC, about $50, on back of throttle body) or throttle position sensor (TPS, about $40, on drivers side of TB). i use to blame idle problems on IAC, but my latest round turned out to be TPS.
