I replaced the ujoints when I sheared both my front axles, and that was like 1000 miles ago... so it couldent have gone bad becasue of wear, but maybe the curb stressed it somehow...

I dident have time to dig into it today, so maybe tomarow...

Thanks about the rims... I love them too, absoulutely awesome, and they proved to be strong!
