My mom has toyo open country 285/75/16 on her surburban and she likes them, they ride quite. We have never got it stuck anywhere. My dad thinks they are better than my destination M/Ts, but he doesnt kno what hes talking about. but the toyos were pretty expensive. I think it was close to 800 bucks for the 285s

I've never used Toyo truck tires but always been way more than satisfied with their car tires and my grandparents have a set of H/T on their SUV. They like them too. I may consider them for my next truck tires. I liked the look of the BFG MT's the best and that's the only reason I went with them really.

Thats what I am doing, personally. I'm waiting for my 265s to wear out or something to... *cough* accidentally happen to them so I can get 285s.

I am thinking the Firestone Destination A/T. Doesn't look quite as aggressive as the BFG, but I've read several reviews by other truck forums that claim it has better traction than the BFG.

The TreadWright re-treads thread also has my attention. So that is an option as well.
