Full HID Off-road Lightbar for Dodge Rams in production.
Hi
I have been a member of these forums for awhile now. I figured I should post a new thread because I am wondering if anyone will remember me lol.
Anyhow I am a major ram lover as you can see here. http://www.ronbarthelt.com/ram.html
Long story short is I dream lights in my sleep. I don't know why I just think its cool to build up your ram get away from everything. One thing that my ram lacked was decent lighting at night. So with the help of my new friends in Australia we have built a HID light bar that is off the chats bright.
Our full size bar is going to have between 9 to 10 forward facing HID lights in it (depending on reflector size) If you don't mind having something on your roof you will have 360 degree's of light superiority.
Heres a few pics if you missed the other thread.

I am currently serving out my last week over in Iraq and I have plenty of time to chat if you have any comments. Once I get out of the sand box we open the web store for pre-orders and away we go.
Heres a link to our site if you are in the market for something truly bright.

Merry Christmas all.

Merry Christmas all.
I posted this in that thread you kicked up, but now that you have your own little thread, I'm going to go to town with this.
For Christssake. Your photographs are ridiculously misleading. To start, your halogen to HID comparison is typical MFG Bull****. Those photos have completely different exposure settings.
This first image was taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi with a 4s exposure at f/5.6 at 22.0mm iso100. Good ****ing God. Everybody knows that using an obscenely low ISO in the dark will give you just that. Darkness.

This second image, is clearly photoshoped, as no EXIF data is present. Meaning the image was post processed. Also due to the extremely odd color on the leaves, as well as the purple tint of the tree trunk, I suspect that the Shadow/Highlight tool was used extensively.

Just for kicks, I took your original headlight photo into Photoshop CS3 and used only the automatic color and level corrections. Here's what I got:

Ahem..
The silly little glare and lightbloom in your brochure pictures are due to the positioning of the Camera in front of the lights, and the lack of a UV filter (which would otherwise remove most of this effect).
While I've got you here I have some questions about basic electrical inconsistencies with your specifications of the TBL-813.
To start, you need to be testing amperage at 13.5 volts- what is provided by the vehicles alternator. Second, who's ballasts and bulbs are you using? Are they Digital or Analog? What bulb base?
What color temp (in Kelvin)
Unless they are an OSRAM or Phillips product (which incidentally are only available for sale to Automobile Manufacturers and from junkyards), you are ripping your customers off, as Chinese plug and play kits only cost about $28 from a distributor. That and the Chinese kits are extremely low quality.
Stop misleading consumers, and take your shameless advertising somewhere else. Like your own website.

Anything you would like to say can be said here. None of the questions I asked will reveal any potential trade secret, or design characteristic. You shouldn't have any problem answering the questions I posed unless you have something to hide.
