Angry Help!!!

I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 Conversion Van. Yesterday after I jumped in it and drove about 2 miles, parked it and left it running, when I went to put it in reverse it stalled. Then it turns over but doesn't want to start. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and it started but stalled out when put in reverse again. Did the same thing today after letting warm up (Minnesota is cold!), however, no problems backing out of the garage after it was cold. Where to start, I've seen many posts about checking the crankshaft position sensor, but not sure since it don't want to start after it stalls. Thanks for your help!

Does it only stall in reverse, or does it stall in any gear?

The first thing I would try would be to remove and clean the throttle body with TB cleaner. The main thing you want to clean is the idle air control (IAC) and the "well" it sits in. The IAC is located on the back of throttle body.

Default Help

Yes it will stall when put it in reverse or drive. It will not do it if it's cold. It runs and shifts fine, but once it's warmed up if you park it and then shift it, it stalls out and it takes about 10 minutes before it will start, already tried cleaning the throttle body. Any other ideas. Could it be the clutch?

This does sound like a CPS issue. You should post this in the van section,as there is a guy named Alloro that knows alot about the vans.
