Haha, thanks man. However I'll keep my obnoxious money pit of a truck. She's paid off, and I love her.

Feel free to copy though.

I really like the stock look also. I always find very subtly modified trucks much more attractive then the other the top ones with 4 million lights and brushguards and chrome doo dads everywhere.

That's just me though.

Today I painted the wheels.

Crappy pictures FTW.

Here they are w/ just paint:

Here is one with clear: (no idea where the white spots came from, probably the fluorescent lights above.)

Kragen. Duplicolor FTW.

These pictures do not do them justice though. As soon as they cure I will get them mounted and put up new pictures.

looks pretty good, did you wet sand them before doing the clear? How about after the clear? Would keep it from looking grainy and textured... Or is that the crappy resolution of the pics? hehehe...

anyway, looks nice dude... I might have to paint mine a smoke color as well...

They were wet sanded at 80 and 320 grit, as well as stripped with acetone and brake cleaner. Also washed with simple green.

The sparkle and texture is the metal in the paint is due to the camera flash.

Yeah, I used my crappy little finepix for those shots. Too lazy to break out the 30D.

Looks good Viper, be sure to post up a pick with them installed. Maybe one on the same rooftop parking garage with the plastic trim super greased up as well.
