No I am positive 96 and up don't have one but not sure when they stopped doing carb.
As to the post squirrels is there a dual plane for our trucks? An what made you go with the hughes over the m1?

Hey Edelbrock makes one for our trucks and it aint that expensive. It is a direct bolt on replacement for our trucks. I emailed them b/c in the description it talked about 2 brl carbs. They emailed me back, said it was a typo and that it was for the stock 2 brl throttle body.........

They stopped carb in the late 80's or early 90's on the 318-360 motor line.

I chose this over the M1 because there were just too many complaints of lost bottom end with the M1 intake. I called Marty to get his opinion on what I should run given my setup and this is what he recommended.

that Edelbrock piece at Jegs is essentially what I've got but purdied up a bit. The only thing I see different is that the injector ports aren't angled toward the intake runner like they are on mine. But it looks to be a perfect bolt-up complete with all the bracket mounts and FI rail mounts. I can't say for certain, but it looks as if the runners are shared and I can't see a specific stepped divider in the inside like mine has. As to how that would affect performance, your guess is as good as mine.

with a 2 barrel m1,your bottom end loss would minimal at best.now to my knowledge people notice more bottom end loss with the 4 bbl.2bbl adapter..but in either one adding a turtle will bring back any and all bottom end loss..and theirs also a re-gearing to regain any and all bottom end loss..
but also member,with the m1 you will pull solidly up to 6,000..

Well I did some reading on single vs dual and it appears that the single plane intake doesnt start to outperform the dual plane until well over 5k rpms.
Needless to say I will be looking for a dual plane setup as my truck will never see anything over 5k.
