How do you remove the dipstick tube? I'm gonna be droping my block off next week at the machine shop and wanna get it off.

It's a pressure fit carefully wiggle it out when I did mine I was sure I was breaking it. Just be patient and go slow.

Damn that was fast lol. Thanks! Umm is there any chance of it leaking when reinstalled? Should I get a new one or is reusing the old one ok?

get a new one **** u should just buy a crate motor anyway!!!!

Machine shop will be under 300. Way under I think he had me confused lol. Crate motor or rebuilt short block 1200+. Also this way I get to build it and learn something

the old one will be fine. the oil level is way below that junction. as long as its not damaged, it won't leak oil out or dirt in.
